Officially, they are "Strike Team 4." Nobody ever calls them that. Their nickname is a reference to the Lady Lightning series of stories, which in the Whateley universe is a comic book series and being made into a movie. Lady Lightning is on a superhero team called AEGIS, which has members with similar powers to these students.[1]
