Eddie Ramos aka Stonewall is one of the Loose Cannons, a group of teenagers who found themselves on the run after being kidnapped and experimented upon by a mysterious group.
According to Evan Ramsey, he could be described as
- Your basic meathead. He's sort of a bully, but it's not so much that he's mean, as it is that he has poor impulse control (as the shrinks would say). He just does things without really thinking. He tends to think more with his body than his brain, and since he's 5'11 and 260 lbs. at least, people tend to get trampled when he gets going.
Eddie is also known among the Cannons for being a bit of a couch potato, his preferred activity being to watch TV. He was not known for his intelligence, but has offered insightful comments on occasion.
On March 7, 2007, Eddie and eleven other students were removed from school under false pretenses and subjected to an experiment intended to create Dynamorphs—in the process turning the kids into Dyna-Hosts and changing the genders of a few of them. Before there was a chance to extract the dynamorphs from the test subjects, however, they managed to escape.
During a broadcast, HeroWatch reporter Danica Hanson informally nicknamed Eddie as "Stonewall" (snarking on his big, stony appearance and the rainbow-themed t-shirt he was wearing) as an ad-hoc codename, and Madam Vicious made it sort of official when Eddie and the other Cannons were shanghaied into her Mutant Deathmatches.
Eddie apparently didn't change much appearance-wise from his original looks, since the other characters didn't bother to comment on it.
Eddie gained the ability of greatly increasing his size and, proportionally, his strength. While not invulnerable, he becomes tougher when larger. He also acquired a level of regeneration, enough to rapidly heal minor small wounds. Well, "small" relative to the size he was when suffering them, anyway.
With the help of a dynamorph-housing crystal the group recovered from their opponents, Eddie becomes stronger and tougher, with a stone-like grey skin.
