Forging Anew is a short story by Heather O'Malley. It was released on February 17, 2015 and narrates events happening in the ancient history of the Whateley Universe, before the fall of the Five Fold Court. It tells the tale of how an Artificer named Jialing was freed from the control of her owner with the help of a man named Sen Vequn and returned to help her mentor, Fai Zhan Wu, prepare for the coming Sundering.
