Gizmatic's was close to the first, if not actually the first, class at Whateley - Even Murphy's Law Has Loopholes part 4 says he was a frosh in 1969. So he would have graduated in '73.
Fall 1966 - spring 1967 was the first full year of 'our' Whateley, (as opposed to Noah Whateley's original school) with one spring term in 1966 being the very first term of school ever. The legendary Doctor Alexander was the headmaster back then. There were only two dorms (at first): Emerson and Dickinson.
It's Word Of God right now, but this will be canon in a couple months.
